UNICELLULAR AND MULTICELLULAR ORGANISMS

Organism whose body consists of a single cell are called uni

cellular organisms.Examples of unicellular organisms are Amoeba,Paramoecium,Euglena,and bacteria. In a unicellular organism ,a single cell performs all vital activities such as feeding, movement, respiration, and reproduction.

Organisms whose body is made up of too cells are called multicellular Organisms. In multicellular Organisms, similar types of cells are grouped together to perform particular functions. Most plants and animals (including human beings) are multicellular Organisms.
